Catholic views on Euthanasia(Personal views, church views, scriptural referances)?

Catholics are members of the Body of Christ and as such we can hardly advocate euthanasia as our Lord and Savior embraced the suffering and death he underwent so should we also undergo any suffering that is sent our way as a member of his body for the salvation of souls---our own and others.
