In Pokemon D/P what is the easiest way to get a female infernape?

I've been trying to teach my infernape thunderpunch through electabuzz, but ofcourse i need a female infernape/chimchar to p the move on via egg. But first i need to breed infernape with ditto to get a female one - which is proving almost impossible.
