Why is everyone so hostile in this section?

You just can't take them seriously - A minute ago I asked why atheists enjoy the religion section so much. I got 10 responses in 5 minutes from irritated atheists, when in fact my question is completely understandable and there is no reason they should be angry at all. I stated the obvious and they exploded like an angry hive of bees. I asked because whenever I ask other believers for their advice I always get more answers from people who irately state that I am stupid for believing or that make snide remarks that I am stupid for believing - but the answers have nothing to do with the actual question posted. Some people are just looking to hurt and claw at who ever they can even if it has nothing to do with anything. Don't take it personally - if I felt empty and had no reason to live I'd be hostile too I guess lol.
