Is my boyfriend self-absorbed or trying to make me jealous?

My boyfriend always bring up is ual past. He mentions numerous ual partners and tells me that so many women and men desire him. He even says that his beauty is a curse..lol. He's not joking either!!!!! I just laugh, and jokingly tell him to use his "beauty" to extort money, or make something out of the deal so that I can buy something. Is he trying to make me jealous or is he simply narcissistic?
