Question about child support proceedings in New York state?

I made a mistake and made a baby out of wed-lock with a deadbeat. I have had 3 court dates so far...none of which he showed up to and he keeps having his other child's mother send back the summons saying that he doesn't live there. I was told by the courts that unless they can serve him then there is absolutely nothing I can do about it so this deadbeat can just get away scott free with not acknowledging or helping to support his daughter. She has already made a year and he has done absolutely NOTHING for her and him and his wife are even going so far as to taunt me about the situation on facebook. My question is what are my options legally? Is there anything I can do to get a default judgment against him? Please help
